『サイケデリック・クリスマス』

 

絵本と音楽と物語が交差する、新しいクリスマス作品。

ノスタルジックな祝祭の記憶が、60年代サイケデリアの夢想をまとって現代によみがえります。

音楽家 ゆうやけしはす（林祐輔） との共作による本作は、“音楽付き絵本”として構想されました。

物語を導くのは、The Who『Tommy』や The Beatles 以降の系譜にも連なるロック・オペラ的構成を持つオリジナル楽曲。

演奏は、クラシック・ロックの精神を現代に継承する ゆうやけしはす＆すうらばあず が担当。

絵本にはオーディオCDが付属。

灰村マオが全編のイラストレーションを担当。

 

 

Psychedelic Christmas

A new Christmas work where picture book, music, and storytelling converge.

A nostalgic memory of festive wonder returns to the present, wrapped in the dreamlike spirit of 1960s psychedelia.

Created in collaboration with musician Yuyakeshihasu (Yusuke Hayashi), this work was conceived as a “musical picture book.”

Guiding the story are original compositions structured in the tradition of the rock opera, tracing a lineage from The Who’s Tommy and the broader legacy of The Beatles-era experimental rock.

Performed by Yuyakeshihasu & Suurabaazu, artists carrying the spirit of classic rock into contemporary Japan.

The picture book includes an accompanying audio CD.
